The Position



We need a passionate and organized Childcare Director to join us on our journey!

As the Director, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, managing staff and scheduling, as well as maintaining compliance with state regulations.

You will have a unique opportunity to work closely with the Founder and lend your expertise in design of the physical space and creation of the play-based curriculum. The Childcare Director is integral in shaping the culture of the center and the lives of young children and their families.

Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children
  • Hire, train, and evaluate childcare staff
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and licensing requirements
  • Build a solution-oriented culture that encourages staff to take ownership of the business’ success
  • Monitor facility bookings and utilization completed through Moxi’s platform, evaluate information and suggest plans for improvement
  • Create a culture of unreasonable hospitality to understand and meet families’ needs
  • Oversee daily operations including scheduling and programming
  • Maintain an organized and clean facility
  • Support staff in their professional development and growth

Skills & Requirements

  • CPR and First Aid certified
  • You hold a Childcare Administrator’s Certificate (CDA) or a Certified Childcare Professional credential (CCP)
  • 3-5+ years of childcare experience with at least 1 year of leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
